Kimberly L. Wood

Attorney

Kimberly L. Wood joined Nodier Law in October 2022. Kim has almost twenty years of civil litigation experience, having practiced both in the private sector and in-house for one of the largest automobile and home insurance companies in the nation. She has been in the courtroom trying cases and arguing at hearings since the start of her legal career and has handled hundreds of cases from the first to the last phase of litigation. Her primary practices are in personal injury defense, insurance defense, and property damage liability defense. She is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state courts, along with the Middle, Eastern, and Western District federal courts of Louisiana.

Kim graduated from Louisiana State University in 1999 with a B.A. in mass communications with an emphasis in advertising and minors in English and history. Thereafter, she attended Louisiana State University for law school, where she graduated with a J.D. and B.A. in civil law studies in 2003. She has
received advanced training in trial advocacy from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

Kim resides in Baton Rouge with her husband, daughter and two stepdaughters. She is an active member of St. George Parish church. When she is not practicing law or busy with her children’s activities, she enjoys cooking and hiking.
