Amanda E. McGowen

Attorney

Amanda E. McGowen joined Nodier Law in 2021.  Her practice focuses in the areas of personal injury defense and workers’ compensation defense. Prior to joining Nodier Law, Amanda handled cases involving personal injury claims arising from automobile liability, premises liability, and workers’ compensation. She also has previous experience in employment law and handled a wide variety of cases such as unpaid overtime claims, employment discrimination claims, and harassment claims.

Amanda attended Louisiana State University where she was a student in the Honors College and earned her B.A. in Political Science with minors in History and Sociology in 2008. She then attended the University of Arkansas where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2011. During law school, Amanda was selected as a member of the Journal of Food Law and Policy. She is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts and federal district courts.

Amanda lives in Baton Rouge. When not practicing law, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and her Shiba Inu, Keiko.
